Hatton Garden Heist
All the good ol' boys sent down today.
Did it to supplement their meagre pensions apparently.
Last of the Old School Villains.
Have to smile somehow.
Won't see their like again.

Enjoyed reading about this today too. But what a set of fucking divvies.

Fair enough, they don't get the whole technology thing, the old giffers, but as for having all that shit lying round their respective gaffs..."yes, I have carried out a heist. Please arrest me".

Thick cunts.

To be fair, drilling a body sized hole through 4 feet of concrete, took some doing

Re: Hatton Garden Heist
The whole thing took massive doing, that's my point. From what I've read they could have got away with it if they hadn't been so clueless, about technology for starters.

And as for having a load of incriminating evidence lying around the house (and not just one of 'em either, the divs).

Christ, sort it out. (Not so) MODERN ROBBERS ARE SHIT.

Is this what I grew up calling a robbery?

They had fun.

They proved it could be done.

Nobody got hurt.

A few dodgy cunts lost some of their stashed ill-gotten loot.

They (mostly) got caught.

What's not to love?

Watching Danny Dyer telling us all about it, I was born and bred in the East End, lived there for 49 years, yet I have never, ever, met anyone that talks likes him, am I on my own?

I cracked up at one of the victims that lost 100k's worth of uninsured gear, when he went on about how is affected by dizzy spells and has to take a lot of medication!

I didn't know 'gutted' was now a recognised and treatable condition through medication.

I walked past the building tonight, still a few news crews about. They're a bit late, tbh. Shirley Guy Ritchie will be making a film about it soon.

I haven't read too much about this, but I was impressed that the old boy brains of the operation used his bus pass and arrived via bus to the heist, according to one rag.

Unbelievable...
OAPs drop down elevator shaft...

Climb through small hole...only do 70 out of 999 boxes...

How on esrth did thry get a compressed air jack through inyo that place...

Were there no interior motion alarms that should have gone off as soon as they got inside...

Surely there should have been alarms all over the place...connected to Central Security and police...

Obviously use of an insider contact/ informer...

Allegedly close to a Billion in the vaults...and a mickey mouse security and alarm setup...

How did they get sussed out and caught...???

Re: Hatton Garden Heist
It was like a game of two halfs. As said, they were very clever in carrying it out, it took them 4 years to plan it apparantly, but then they let themselves down with a few schooloboys. Pwopa old school career crims, bless 'em.

10 mil from the 14 mil stolen in loot etc still missing apparantly, but because of that they will receive much harsher sentences, according to the bloke on Sky news anyway.

I can't work out how this 'Basil' chap got away if they were all under surveilance. Didn't the old bill watch them all split the proceeds?
How did Basil get his cut? How did Basil k now where to be and at what time if he never spoke to any of the others on the phone or in person?
